Members of the Forest City Lions Club are dedicated to uplifting our local community by facilitating charitable donations, developing, implementing and sharing sustainable programs, and by organizing impactful events. Our collaborative initiatives provide immediate support for individuals, children and families in need while fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and a spirit of generosity. With each successful program, we intend to inspire hope throughout the community.

We Forest City Lions volunteer our time, talent, energy and resources to support our neighbors across Connecticut. We are diverse, we are inclusive, and we are kind, and we model serving-leadership.
As Lions We currently partner with the Middletown Department of Public Health, Middletown Public Schools, Middletown Fire Department(s), food banks, faith communities, foundations and other non-profit organizations who meeting needs throughout our community. We also work with local, state-wide, national and international partners.
We believe that together, acting as one community, we can significantly improve the lives of our less fortunate neighbors, one person at a time creating a healthierand more vibrant community. Does this sound good to you? Join us!

Our currently elected officers bring many years of experience in the fields of volunteering, sales and commerce, healthcare provision, and non-profit work. Forest City Lions Club appreciates their 100% donated time and energy to keeping the vision of serving Middletown and its neighbors growing!
Upcoming Service/ Events:
Forest City Lions Club are excited to participate and serve in 2026//2027. The following events and projects are areas of active service this year.
Vision Screening for Middletown Public School Children.
(Sept 2026-May 2027)
Preparing and Serving Monthly Dinners on Main Street Middletown with Streetfire Ministries. (June 2026 ongoing)
Preparing and Delivering Menstrual Products each month to Middletown High School and Beaman Middle School Students (Sept. 2026-June 2027)
Partnering with local municipal services to ensure citizens displaced by Fire Emergencies have access to housing, food, communication, transportation, civic, and social services. (2026/2027)
Past Events

Play Like the Pros Golf Tournament
(TPC River Highlands) July 1, 2026

Collaborated with a local food pantry to serve Middletown High School Students with a Food Market for weekend nutrition needs.
